Abby Elliot Leaving SNL

SplitSider is reporting that Abby Elliot will be leaving Saturday Night Live and will not return for the upcoming season. Add her to the list that includes Kristin Wiig, Andy Samberg and a very possible Jason Sudeikis who has been coy about that whole thing.

Elliot is the daughter of Chris Elliot who comedy nerds may know as “The Man Under The Stairs” from Letterman’s Late Night on NBC and Cabin Boy.

Abby had a lot of roles this past season and she’d moved up from featured player status. No word yet on why the sudden move.

Here’s some other things Abby’s been working on, specifically her web series The Assistant where she pulls double roles for Lorne Michael’s Broadway Video channel, Above Average Network:
